Statement of Faith
We Believe:
In the scriptures of the Old and New Testament as verbally inspired of God and inerrant in the original writings and those they are the true Word of God and the final authority in faith and conduct.
In one God, the Creator of all things and man; eternally existing in three persons, in a threefold relationship, that of father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
That Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin May and was God in the flesh, and is the savior for all mankind.
That man was created by God, That man sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical death, which separated us from God. that Adam's sin is imputed to the whole race of mankind and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature and in case of those who reach the state of moral responsibility, become sinners before God in thought, word and deed.
That the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins (the sins of all men) according to the scriptures as a substituationary sacrifice those all who believe in Him are freely justified and stand before God accepted in the characters and merit of Jesus Christ.
In the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ in his ascension into heaven and that in his present life. He is the head of the church, the Lord of the individual believer, the High Priest over the house of God and the advocate in the family of God.
In the personal, imminent and premillenial second coming of Christ; first to receive his own to himself, and later to set up his earthly kingdom and reign over redeemed Israel and all nations of the world; that is to bring peace and blessing to the whole world. (Acts 1:9-11,Rev 11:12-15, Rev 22-5)
That all who by faith receive the Lord Jesus Christ as savior are born again of the Holy Spirit, receiving the Holy Spirit and a new nature; that they also are anointed with the Spirit and in the Holy Spirit and are baptized into the body of Christ.
That after being born again, by the Holy Spirit we are to follow the example of Christ and be baptized by submersion in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. (Matt 28, Romans 6:4, I Peter 3:21)
In the Bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust; everlasting blessedness of the saved and everlasting punishment of the unsaved.
